[Hundred] - Prologue

“Why, how can it become like this….”

The town where Churchs, Temples, both historical structures and modern skycrappers are lining side by side, both people who come here to just sightseeing and who come to pray, showing their liveliness like usual.     

       
And yet.

The dazzling light that shined so suddenly, also the sound of explosion that making everyone frightened, in that short time, the town has changed into Hell.

Not only once. The lights are shined many times, which followed by the sound of explossion.
The buildings are destroyed to the point that the base framework of each buildings are shown, and only some of them that barely able to maintain their original form. Mostly now are already reduced become rubbles and being covered by dust. Yet, the explossion are still continued.

“What, just what the heck is going on– !“

Bending his body, the boy shouted.

He completely don’t know what happened to this town. Everyone near him are the same, ‘a terrorist?, an accident, or maybe--‘ is what they think and while they were thinking for the main cause of this, many of them are screaming, panic, and trying to escape. The explossion still continued.

“Uwaa!?”

In that moment, the boy’s back are feels as if he was being pushed by wind, his body are fluttering in the air.
(Why, how can it become like this….)

After several second that happened, he fell on rubble. As he tried to stand, what reflected in his eyes are a gigantic monster with black skin with yellow patern.

“Don’t tell me that those are…..”

What he recall are three years ago, the mysterious life-forms that come from far-away space which called «Savage». There’s difference for each of them, but basically they have a hard skill just like a steel, yellow patern, a pointed eyes, a long antenna, have a sharp fang and many leg, the arm are just like a big scissors, and their appearance are maybe really close to bugs that we usualy see. That is what kind of monster that he saw in front of him.

But, all Savage are should be already destroyed by Private Military Company’s collaboration in the South-Pole.

— and yet, why did those thing are appeared in this place? 

His body are trembling because of fear.
Just how terrifying are the life-form called Savage, whether it was his father, mother, and teachers are seems don’t want to talk about it.

Scary. It can’t be helped that he feels scared. His back feels like broken and even now laying on the floor. But still, the boy trying to shake off his fear and tried to run.

He have a really important promise afterall. He have a place that he must visit. He finally arrive at the park that located on the central part of the town. This place usually crowded people, but today no one is here. Because of Savage’s attack, everyone seems whether tried to take a shelter or some of them are stayed on their home and pray. In that park, as already promissed before, the beautiful silver colored hair girl that as usual wore a lovely dress with frills, are there sit on the bench. But there’s actually something different than usual. The girl seems sleeping soundly.

It seems she was dozing off and sleeping because of today’s weather that seems the best time for taking a nap. That sleeping face are seems so calm and lovely, he wanted to sit beside her and watch her closely, but of course now is not the time for that.

“Wake up!”

The boy who rushed to the girl are shaking the girl’s body and waking her up.

“Finally you come”

The girl who just woke up, smiled to him. But, she seen the boy’s appearance seems different than usual. She then tilted her head.

“…..What’s wrong?”

“It’s really bad! It seems Savage are appeared in this town—“

At that moment, suddenly, a really big shadow are engulfing them. ……. It’s a Savage!

“Let’s run!”

The boy pulled the girls hand who seems still bewildered with what’s happened. The Savage who are come from the sky, are landing in front of them. The shockwave are making water from the pond on the park flooding.

“…….damn it!”

There’s Savage both in front and their back. Moreover, that big thing are as large as general house, around three to four meter each. And each of them giving off a oppression aura. Furthermore, the one in front of them seems noticed them and stared at them with that scary eyes. Opening the scissors-like arm, and preparing to attack
them.We must run away from here quickly!

“This way!

Stepping on the ground, the boy pulled the girl’s hand. Thus, they able to avoid Savage’s Scissors. Its pearcing the ground, so intense that making dust flying everywhere. Inside that cloud of dust, the boy’s hand seems separated from the girl’s.

“Kya?!”

The time when the hand that he grasped feels separated, a scream can be heard. When he turn around, the girl seems fall on the ground. Her feet seems hit the rubble, thus making her fell.

“Are you all right?!”

“Y, Yes,…….I’m okay….”

The girl’s replied, just when she going to stand up, the boy noticed that there’s a Savage behind them. And it seems that Savage are gathering whitle light.

(This is bad!)

The boy know that, the dazzling flash are the sign before Savage going to shoot something from it’s head. And the explossion are seems will have effect just like explossions before.

“Lay down!”

Just the time he was laying in the floor along with the girl, the light’s are shined, and the ground just beside them are as if was dyed with white color.

“Ugh…..!”

A thunderous roar, along with the blast, making the fragment of the rubble and sands flying everywhere. The boy’s body are sent flying along with it. He seems stopped rolling after hit a rubble beside him. But the girl’s body that have same experience, seems rolled to other dirrection, she rolled and stopped just in front of another Savage. The Savage who noticed the girl, fixed it’s aim at her and then reached out with it’s scissors. The girl was captured by that Savage.

“Stop it ——!”

The boy shouted with all his might. He do it because he know that Savage are looking at human as if they’re their food. The girl’s body are catched, and her feet seems already separated from the ground. At that time, Savage’s head seems opened.

(Just what should I do?)

*do—n!*

What he heard just now are a shooting’s sound. Savage’s head is exploded. There he can see, a Guudenburg armi’s tank. The army who come just now start attacked at the Savage. The Savage which received the attack, dropped the girl from it’s scissor.

(U, a…….)

The boy who run to the girl who just now dropped to the ground, seems paled as he saw her. The girl seems have a trouble breathing, and her dress are splitted because of the Savage’s scissor. There seems a red line of blood on her skin. The girl who captured by Savage seems wounded.

“Hey, are you all right!?”

There’s no response when he tried to call out to her. The girl seems in pain when breathing, the only thing that can be heard are the cracking sound from her throat. And after that, he can see that the girl vomiting a darkish blood from her mouth.

(Damn, I should hurry and stop the bleeding….)

While thinking that, he than tried to out from this condition first. The Savage who was attacked by the army was didn’t pay attention at the boy and girl. It’s a perfect chance to run away. The boy then carried to girl’s body and run with all his might.

“It seems we already safe since it’s already this far….”

After run for about five minutes, the boy’s feet are stopped since already far away from the Savage, and there he noticed that the surounding building are mostly already destroyed. Of course, not even one person are there.

“Sorry, it’s may hurt a little…..”

Just after said that, the boy then dropped the girl’s body slowly on the concreet, than he lay her down there and,

“Kuu, haa…….nnnn,,,,”

A pained voice leaked from the girl’s mouth. Her breath are shallow, and a lot of sweat are coming out.

“…..Wait, what is, this…”

Instantly, the boy noticed that in the gap of the dress that cut, the part of breast that revealed, the color was changed. The center of the wound, her skin’s color changed become black. And that effect seems spread slowly.

(Is this, poison…?)

At that time, he remembered something, long time ago, when his hand was stinged by a bee, his mother was doing some treatment. His mother tied his hand that near the wound, so the poison won’t spread, and then she sucked the blood from the wound. But, the girl’s wound are on her breast, thus it’s not possible to tie it. So, the only option left are sucked the poison as fast as possible before it’s spreading.

(Suck the blood, from the wound….)

Touching the other people’s skin with his mouth, on top of that the opposite sex’s skin, till now it’s not even happened once in his life.

His breath was choked, chest’s beating faster, and he feels as if he was thirsty. Of course, this kind of feeling are the first time he tasted it. It was not the time to feel bewildered whether he should get the permission from her first or not.

Apologized in his mind, the boy then hugged the girl and then sucked blood from the wound.

“N…..Mmh…Nnn…..”

He desperately sucked the poison with this mouth. The taste is like an iron, and inside that he tasted slightly something mixed with it.

“N—haa!!”

He spitted the darkish blood from his mouth to the concrete near him. Without feelsfrightened by it, he then continued to suck the girl’s wound. He sucked the blood mixed with poison, and then spitted it. Two times, three times, and repeated it many times.

“Kaha, keho……nn, keho…..”

That’s happened when he doing it on the third time. Just when he sucked the blood that accumulated, the boy was choked, and yet—

The girl that in his embrance was smiling, and then the boy are smile back at her. And then, an unusual phenomenon happened.

While his consciousness feels so hazy, the boy shown regreted face. Savage’s poison are stronger than he think.

And even with a little misfortune, he than seen the girls symptoms. He believe that the girl can be saved.
But, several minutes later, the boy can hear faintly people’s sound. It’s not just his hallucination. He sure that it’s a man’s voice. And that footstep seems approaching them.

(Did someone going to save us…..?)

If that the case, not only the girl, he hope that he’ll also be saved. It will be good, is what he expect—

“Eh….?”

He then feels his back of his head experienced a really dull pain, and his head feels shaking. His body feels giddy. And after that he feels a crash on whole of his body.

(What ….was that just now….?)

It was a pain after being striked by a blunt weapon from the back. But he don’t know what that weapon is.

“….Haya, to….?”

He can hear that the girl called his name. And at that time he feels his consciousness faded away.
